Mauritius Business Excellence Awards 2009

are proud to announce that Orinux
has been shortlisted for the second stage of the Business
Excellence Award organized by the Ministry of Industry,
Science and Research of Mauritius.
The
award aims at rewarding best business practices among Mauritian
enterprises in order to achieve higher productivity and
competitiveness. The
objectives of the Award are to
encourage and stimulate best business practices for achievement of
higher productivity and competitiveness; to
promote use of economic and productivity assessment tools among
participants for improvement in management and operational
practices; to
identify role models adopting world class practices for others to
emulate; to
provide recognition to businesses that are making continuous efforts
to improve management and operational practices. The
evaluation criteria for the Award are based on the following key
areas of a business: vision
and strategic planning; leadership; human
resource empowerment; sales
and marketing management; production
management processes and improvement; measurement,
analysis, knowledge management; financial
management and results; information
