Audit
The aim of an audit is to define how TSM will be implemented.
It implies making an inventory of the technical architecture, the different modes of communication and the hardware which will be used for backups (networks, resources, disks, servers etc.).

In our report, we first consolidate what we know of the technical architecture (to best use TSM), and with the aim of achieving availability and speed, we offer recommendations concerning the networks and servers.

Training
Trainings give future TSM administrators the necessary knowledge to control the software and anticipate and recognize any problems that may arise.

To involve the administrators in the steps of analysis, installation, configuration, tests and validation, it is highly recommended that trainings be given before the implementation of the solution.

Implementation
Implementation is the installation of the TSM server, the configuration of software components, and the conduct of tests.

If the solution necessitates a Business Recovery Plan (BRP), then the Disaster Recovery Manager module, which ensures a continuation of activities in the case of a major disruption to the production site, will be installed and configured.

The Go-Live Process
The go-live process of the solution is the most critical step of the project as data is now being protected by the newly installed solution.
